i let out a profanity when i saw this photo. this painting depicts what is known as sleep paralysis…its untirely unpleasent and a completely horrifying experience.
people who suffer from this will almost always describe it as though there was an evil presence in the room or standing directly on their chest, preventing both their breath and voice from escaping.
